Analysis based on the teachers' post-survey results
Analysis based on the teachers' post-survey results from the "Chasing a Dream" project:
The results of the teacher post-survey for the "Chasing a Dream" project show that the project was very successful. Teachers from 11 different schools completed the survey. All of them had participated in an eTwinning project before. Most teachers (10 out of 11) said that the project activities helped reach the project goals very well.
The most effective activities for student engagement and communication in English were interactive webinars and online games (7 votes), speaking sessions in meetings (5 votes), and creative tasks such as writing poems and stories. These activities helped students improve their English and enjoy learning in a fun and meaningful way.
All teachers agreed that the project increased their students’ motivation and confidence in using English. The cooperation between teachers was also very positive. Six teachers strongly agreed, and five agreed that working together with other teachers was effective and enriching.
While most teachers (8 out of 11) said they did not face any problems during the project, three teachers mentioned some challenges.
According to the teachers, the most important results for students were: better English skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening), improved self-confidence, and learning about new cultures. The students became more interested in English and were happy to be part of an international project. Some teachers said their students now want to join similar projects again.
In conclusion, the "Chasing a Dream" project helped students learn English in an enjoyable and effective way while also supporting cultural exchange and cooperation among schools.
